Manila, Philippines – On March 28, 2017, the Philippine Army signed a memorandum of understanding with Pamilya Muna Philipinas ( Family First Philippines) to empower and strengthen Filipino families in uniform. PMP is a Family First Asia partner, supported by the Fellowship of Fathers Foundation, that seeks to support Filipino Families and strengthen the Filipino nation.
Armed Forces of the Philippines Acting Commanding General, Lieutenant General Glorioso V. Miranda and Francis Glenn Yu, PMP President, along with other leaders and staff, gathered at Ricarte Hall, the Philippine Army Officers’ Clubhouse in Fort Andres Bonifacio, Metro Manila for a signing ceremony and brief program. The MOU formalizes a partnership between AFP and PMP/FFP that enables PMP to offer services and programs to build military families, particularly PMP’s Military Family Care (MFC) program. The MFC program aims to promote and encourage good governance and innovation in family care and welfare for families of the men and women in AFP uniform.
